Guests from all walks of life are invited to the sixth annual unity dinner 2007 in Fremont, an event devoted to bringing people of diverse backgrounds together for an evening of entertainment and socializing Sponsored by Jeevan Zutshi, chair of the Indo-American Community Federations, this year’s event , set for March 23, will feature Chinese folk dancing and martial arts, Mexican ballet Folklorico and semi-classical Kathak dance from India.
Fremont, Ca. —– Congressman Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, was welcomed by a large contingent of supporters at a luncheon at the home of Usha and Jeevan Zutshi in Fremont hills June 11. He spoke for more than three hours on issues including the plight of Kashmiri Pandits and the proposed civilian nuclear agreement between India and the U.S., at a fundraiser organized by the Whittier, Calif. based Indian American Friendship Council.
